YAKUSUGI Essential Oil is a light amber-colored viscous oil with a sweet-resiny woody scent. The Japanese cedar trees growing in Yakushima, an island off the southern coast of Kyushu, Japan produce the oil. This oil is distilled from the raw compounds such as the tree stumps and roots from trees more than 1000 years to 7,000 years old. They have remained decay free for hundreds of years and therefore this oil is likely to have a potent antifungal and antimicrobial effect.
The usage of this rich oil can be used in topical applications as well as with a diffuser. Additionally, Yakusugi Essential Oil is very rich in sesquiterpenes which are bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties. The scent of the oil is very calming, soothing and therefore, would be beneficial in alleviating stress, anxiety and tension.

SUGGESTED USE:
Yakusugi Oil can be used in their pure form or mixed with other pure essential oils when properly diluted. For aromatherapy, add 3 – 5 drops into a diffuser. For bath, insect repellent, fragrances or skincare, mix 4 – 16 drops the equivalent of 1% – 4% dilution ratio of AISU 100% Pure Essential Oil into 1 tbsp. of carrier oil, such as AISU ESSENCE RICE BRAN BEAUTY OIL. For sensitive skin, start by using a small number of drops such as a 1% dilution ratio. It is recommended to perform a skin patch test when diluted by applying a small drop of product onto clean upper forearm or behind the ear for 24 hours and rinse. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
