Kuromoji Essential Oil

On the branches and shrubs of wild camphor trees growing in Japan are “black spots” which in Japanese means “kuromoji”. Extracted from those branches through steam distillation, Kuromoji Essential Oil is produced. The wood harvested to make the oil is part of a government program in Japan to keep the mountainside beautiful.

Kuromoji Essential Oil has traditionally been used in Japan as a medication for use as an anti-inflammatory product effective in relief from neuralgia, stiff neck and back. It was also found to have high levels of antimicrobial effects to assist in skincare. A few drops of this oil produces a very calming aromatic bath with a fresh woody fragrance.

SUGGESTED USE:
Kuromoji Oil can be used in it’s pure form or mixed with other pure essential oils when properly diluted.  For aromatherapy, add 3 – 5 drops into a diffuser.  For bath, insect repellent, fragrances or skincare, mix 4 – 16 drops the equivalent of 1% – 4% dilution ratio of AISU 100% Pure Essential Oil into 1 tbsp. of carrier oil, such as AISU ESSENCE RICE BRAN BEAUTY OIL.  For sensitive skin, start by using a small number of drops such as a 1% dilution ratio.  It is recommended to perform a skin patch test when diluted by applying a small drop of product onto clean upper forearm or behind the ear for 24 hours and rinse.  Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if pregnant, nursing or suffering from any medical condition.  Not for internal use.  Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and broken skin.  Essential Oils should always be handled with care and never applied directly onto skin.  Please refer to a professional source for proper dilution ratios before use.  Discontinue use if irritation occurs.  Store in a dark cool place.  Keep out of reach of children.
