KITAYAMA SUGI ESSENTIAL OIL is derived by steam distillation from the leaves, petals and roots of the cedar trees found in the lush mountains of Kitayama, Kyoto in Japan. The wood from these cedar trees have long been prized in Japanese culture for use in building beautiful floors and pillars.
Presently in Japan, this cedar wood is also used for producing an essential oil benefitting skincare. Because of all the natural ingredients contained in the oil, skincare and cosmetic products are formulated with smooth cleansing and moisturizing compounds with a of woody cedar and a sweet floral fragrance.
SUGGESTED USE:
Kitayama Sugi Oil can be used in it’s pure form or mixed with other pure essential oils when properly diluted. For aromatherapy, add 3 – 5 drops into a diffuser. For bath, insect repellent, fragrances or skincare, mix 4 – 16 drops the equivalent of 1% – 4% dilution ratio of AISU 100% Pure Essential Oil into 1 tbsp. of carrier oil, such as AISU ESSENCE RICE BRAN BEAUTY OIL. For sensitive skin, start by using a small number of drops such as a 1% dilution ratio. It is recommended to perform a skin patch test when diluted by applying a small drop of product onto clean upper forearm or behind the ear for 24 hours and rinse. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
